This still was created as an experiment using vector textures inside Blender 3D. Usually textures are made as images... which means that they become pixelated if you zoom in too close... or have too much detail for far away objects. By using vectors you can be much more efficient..

I used a highly experimental version of Blender to achieve the image... it is not possible in the normal version of Blender. The full scale image is below here
There's also examples so you can see the difference between an image (png) and vector (svg) texture.
